Private Label Kids Clothing Manufacturer
Your collection. Your brand. A clear path to production.
QH Apparel supports private label kidswear and babywear projects through product development, sampling, fabric and trim sourcing, and production follow-up. Bring your designs, reference samples or collection brief so we can review the requirements together.

PRODUCT MIX
Build a Collection Around Your Product Mix
Share the age range, style references and intended market for each category. We review development requirements against the collection you actually plan to sell.
YOUR SPECIFICATION
Define What Makes the Product Yours
Fabrics & Colours
Discuss fabric composition, weight, handle and colour requirements before sampling. Material availability and finishing choices affect both costing and repeatability.
Fit & Construction
Provide size charts, measurement points and reference samples. Record revisions and approvals so the intended fit can be carried into production.
Prints, Trims & Details
Review artwork, placements, closures and construction details against the fabric and intended use. Confirm feasibility and approval requirements for each style.
Labels & Packing
Share brand artwork, care-label information and packing instructions for project review. Agree the final specification before production rather than leaving branding decisions until dispatch.
OEM, ODM and Private Label: Agree the Scope
These three terms describe who supplies what, and they are not mutually exclusive manufacturing modes. In an OEM arrangement the buyer supplies the specification, covering artwork, measurements, materials and construction, and the factory builds to it. In an ODM arrangement the design is developed jointly: the buyer brings the direction while the manufacturer contributes construction, material and costing input. Private label describes brand ownership rather than a production method, and either of the previous two can sit underneath it.
Most real collections mix all three, with some styles fully specified by the buyer and others developed from a reference. What matters is that the split of responsibility is written down. Confirm item by item who owns the design, the pattern, the material specification and the technical documentation, who handles sample revisions, who carries the associated costs, and who gives the final approval. We do not claim exclusive capability in any of these areas; the scope is agreed per project before development starts.

Evidence You Can Review Yourself
Factory photographs are available on our Factory page, and selected certification evidence is shown on our Compliance page. Certifications vary by production facility and product programme, so evidence is reviewed against your specific requirements rather than assumed to cover every product.
Sampling and Quality Approval
An approval only holds if the record behind it is complete. Keep a version history for every sample, noting what changed and who approved it. Check the smallest and largest sizes in the range alongside the base size, because grading alters proportions. Record material lot and colour shading, and review wash results against the care instructions on the label. Agree the inspection method and the acceptance criteria for the order, meaning which points are measured, how many garments are inspected and what counts as a pass, rather than assuming a standard applies. We do not quote a fixed AQL level or present certificates as a general guarantee; both are defined in the order.
BEFORE BULK
Product Decisions That Matter Before Bulk
A good-looking sample is only one part of an approval. For children’s clothing, brands also need to define measurements across the size range, material changes, workmanship and consistency between coordinated pieces. QH’s development and production follow-up focuses on carrying agreed requirements from sample review into the order.
ENQUIRY CHECKLIST
Prepare Your Private Label Enquiry
- Reference images or tech packs
- Product categories and target age ranges
- Fabrics, colours and construction details
- Quantities by style, colour and size
- Branding and packing requirements
- Target market and requested delivery window
If some details are still open, identify them in your brief. A useful proposal should distinguish confirmed requirements from decisions that still need development or approval.
FAQS
Private Label Kidswear FAQs
Can we develop our own designs?
Share your designs, tech packs or reference samples. QH reviews the development, sourcing and sampling work needed for your collection.
What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ needs to be confirmed for the actual style, fabric, colour breakdown and production requirements. Send the quantity plan for review rather than assuming one minimum applies to every product.
How long do sampling and production take?
Timing depends on the development work, material availability, approval rounds and production schedule. Share your required delivery window so feasibility and milestones can be discussed.
What should we approve before bulk production?
Agree the sample, measurements, fabric, colours, trims, branding and packing requirements. Record any approved changes so production follows the same specification.
Can we discuss labels and packaging?
Include your logo artwork, label details and packaging requirements in the enquiry. These need to be reviewed and confirmed alongside the garment specification.
